As soon as, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Sammy Davis, Jr., popularly known as the “Rat Pack” heard about the telecasting of this award ceremony, they took a flight and reached the venue almost in no time. They almost overtook the stage and entertained the audience with cigarettes and whiskey in their hand. The audience was enthralled by their performance and the next year they were asked to host the Golden Globe Award Ceremony.
